In his inaugural remarks, Akinoso said the immediate focus of the party would be preparations for the 2027 general elections.
He urged members to set aside internal differences, strengthen the party through unity, and participate fully in the upcoming e-membership registration exercise to expand PDP’s grassroots presence across the state.
“Party executives must focus on coordinating activities, promoting harmony among members, and ensuring victory at the polls,” Akinoso said.
“Through consultations and dialogue, we will work together to achieve success in future elections.”
The new leadership emphasized membership mobilisation and party cohesion as key pillars for consolidating PDP’s influence in Oyo State ahead of the 2027 polls.
