Israeli forces have killed a Palestinian couple and two of their children in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian health authorities. The victims, Ali Khaled Bani Odeh (37), his wife Waad (35), and their children Mohammad and Othman (aged five and seven), were shot in the head while driving in Tammun village on Sunday. Two other children were wounded by shrapnel.

Surviving 12-year-old Khaled recounted how Israeli soldiers pulled him from the car and beat him, reportedly shouting, “We killed dogs.”

The Israeli military said the operation targeted Palestinians suspected of involvement in attacks against Israeli forces. They claimed the vehicle accelerated toward them, prompting a perceived threat and gunfire, resulting in the deaths of four Palestinians. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the killings as part of “systematic aggression” against Palestinians. Human rights groups report that Israeli settlers are increasingly taking advantage of movement restrictions imposed during the ongoing US-Israel–Iran conflict, making it difficult for ambulances to reach victims.

Since the start of the Iran war on February 28, at least five Palestinians have been killed by settlers in the West Bank. Meanwhile, Gaza has also seen renewed Israeli air attacks, including a strike on Sunday in Nuseirat that killed a man, his pregnant wife, and their son, bringing the Gaza death toll to at least 26 since the conflict escalated.
