NIGERIA STRENGTHENS MILITARY TIES WITH LIBERIA DURING ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY

As part of the 69th Armed Forces of Liberia Remembrance Day celebrations, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Liberia, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, hosted the Chief of Army Staff of the Nigerian Army, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, to a state luncheon and regimental dinner in Monrovia.

The visit also included a dinner hosted by the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Liberia, Major General Davidson Forleh, alongside the Nigerian Army Senior Adviser, ECOWAS Advisory Training Team in Liberia, Col. DM Imiren.

The engagements underscore the robust military collaboration between Nigeria and Liberia, signal continued commitment to regional peace, security, and capacity-building initiatives in West Africa.
