Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has pledged that the state will deliver two million votes to President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Abiodun pledged on Thursday at a mega rally organised by the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.

The rally attracted APC supporters from the 20 local government areas of the state, as well as members of Caucus 7202, a political support group backing the party’s candidates.

The governor said the turnout demonstrated the APC’s strength and grassroots support ahead of the 2027 elections.

He urged party members to intensify mobilisation across wards and communities while highlighting the achievements of his administration as a basis for seeking continued public support.

Abiodun also expressed confidence in the APC governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, describing him as capable of providing effective leadership to the state.

Adeola pledged to build on the achievements of the present administration if elected, while dismissing reports of any political alliance between him and opposition parties.

He urged APC supporters to remain focused and strengthen the party’s structures ahead of the election.

The Ogun APC Chairman, Yemi Sanusi, also charged members to take the party’s programmes and achievements to the grassroots through sustained voter education and mobilisation.

The Director-General of Caucus 7202, Moctar Koiki, said the group had about 180,000 members across the state and would mobilise support for Tinubu, Abiodun and Adeola in the 2027 elections.
