The United States is not expected to launch further strikes against Iran for now unless Tehran carries out another attack, according to a report by Axios citing U.S. officials.
The report said U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio had recently informed some foreign counterparts that Washington’s current military posture towards Iran would remain unchanged “for the time being.”

According to the report, the position means the United States does not currently plan to carry out additional strikes against Iran unless Tehran initiates further military action.
The development comes amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran, with the U.S. maintaining its current position while monitoring Iran’s actions.
