President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday received a delegation from Mastercard led by its Global Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Michael Miebach, at the State House, Abuja.

The meeting underscored the Federal Government’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with global financial technology institutions to advance Nigeria’s digital economy, financial inclusion, and economic transformation agenda.

President Tinubu welcomed the Mastercard delegation and reiterated his administration’s resolve to create an enabling environment for investments, innovation, and the expansion of digital payment systems across the country.

The visit by the global payments technology company is expected to further deepen discussions on opportunities for collaboration in digital finance, technology-driven economic growth, and expanding access to financial services for millions of Nigerians.
