Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has come under scrutiny after an old video in which he urged fans to report fellow creator Carter Efe resurfaced online.
The development comes days after TikTok permanently banned Carter Efe’s main account, which had more than 5.6 million followers and 158 million likes.

In the resurfaced video, Peller was seen appealing to his followers to report Carter Efe’s account, accusing the entertainer of undermining other content creators.
The clip, which began circulating again on social media on September 9, has prompted some users to draw a connection between Peller’s earlier appeal and the subsequent removal of Carter Efe’s account.
However, there is no confirmed evidence that Peller’s actions directly caused it; TikTok reportedly cited repeated violations of its Community Guidelines in its enforcement notice concerning the account.

The latest ban is the second major TikTok account Carter Efe has lost. His previous account, which had about 3.5 million followers, was removed in June 2025 following controversy over comments he made about singer Wizkid during a livestream.
Carter Efe later rebuilt his audience to more than 5.6 million followers before his latest account was taken down.
