According to a statement issued on Thursday by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Hon. For governorship and presidential primary election appeals, the party constituted a 23-member panel headed by Hon. Abdulrahman Mohammed. The panel includes senior party leaders and legal practitioners such as Yusuf Nya Akirikwen, SAN, Kamaldeen Ajibade, SAN, former House of Representatives member Jones Onyereri, among others. PDP National Secretary, Sen. Samuel N. Anyanwu, will serve as secretary of the panel.

The governorship and presidential appeals panel is expected to sit on June 10, 2026, also at the NWC Hall, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.

The party added that the appeal process forms part of efforts to consolidate unity and strengthen confidence in its electoral procedures as preparations intensify for future elections.
