A 28-year-old Nigerian man, Adebayo Maoli, has been arrested and charged in Toronto, Canada, following allegations of sexual misconduct involving three people on the city’s public transit system.
According to the Toronto Police Service, Maoli faces one count of sexual assault and two counts of committing an indecent act in connection with separate incidents reported in September and October 2026.
Police said the first incident occurred on September 1, at approximately 3 p.m., aboard a southbound Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) subway train at King Station.

Investigators alleged that the suspect exposed himself to two passengers before leaving the train after they activated the emergency alarm.
A second incident reportedly occurred on October 3, at approximately 12:10 a.m., at College Station.
According to police, the suspect allegedly followed a passenger who had exited a subway train and subsequently exposed himself while they were on an escalator.
The passenger reportedly confronted him, after which he fled the scene.
Following investigations into the incidents, Maoli was arrested and charged. He was scheduled to appear before a bail court on October 9.
Police have not disclosed the outcome of that scheduled appearance.

The Toronto Police Service also expressed concern that additional people may have experienced similar incidents involving the suspect.
Authorities have consequently appealed to anyone with relevant information to contact investigators or provide information anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
The investigation remains ongoing.
The charges against Maoli are allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
