The Nigerian Air Force has released the names of 25 people who died in Monday’s military aircraft crash in Igbokoda, Ondo State.
The latest NAF statement identified the victims as five crew members and 20 passengers and confirmed that no survivors were found.
The aircraft was on a routine mission from Benin, Edo State, to Lagos when it crashed in the Igbokoda area on October 5.

The Air Force said search-and-rescue procedures were immediately activated in coordination with relevant authorities and emergency response agencies.
The latest casualty information differs from preliminary figures released shortly after the crash, when authorities reported that 32 people — 25 passengers and seven crew members — were believed to have been aboard the aircraft.
The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, expressed condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of the victims and assured them of the Service’s support.
Aneke has also ordered a comprehensive investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The Air Force urged the public to avoid speculation and the circulation of unverified information while the investigation continues.
