Manchester United goalkeeper, Senne Lammens has been named the Premier League Signing of the Season after an outstanding debut campaign in English football’s top flight.
The 23-year-old Belgian shot-stopper earned the honour following a fan, player and manager vote, according to an announcement shared on the Premier League’s official social platforms. Lammens joined Manchester United from Royal Antwerp last summer and quickly made an impression with consistent performances between the posts.
Throughout the season, Lammens emerged as one of the league’s most reliable goalkeepers, delivering commanding displays, producing key saves and becoming an important figure in United’s campaign at Old Trafford.

Reacting to the recognition, Lammens described the award as a special achievement in his first season in England.
“It is a special feeling to win this award in my first season in the Premier League. I want to thank my teammates, the coaching staff and the supporters for their belief in me throughout the campaign,” he said.
The goalkeeper also emphasised that individual recognition reflects collective effort rather than personal achievement.
“Individual awards are always nice, but football is a team sport. This recognition would not have been possible without the players around me and everyone working behind the scenes at the club,” he added.
Manchester United’s manager praised Lammens for the impact he made immediately after arriving at the club, highlighting his professionalism, dedication and consistency as key factors behind his success.

“Senne has been outstanding from the moment he arrived. His work ethic and performances have been exceptional, and he fully deserves this recognition,” the manager said.
The award marks a major milestone in Lammens’ rapid rise and strengthens his growing reputation as one of Europe’s most promising young goalkeepers.
