Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris has launched his own junior racing team aimed at supporting talented young drivers and helping them progress toward Formula 1.
The new project, named LN4 Fusion, was unveiled ahead of the Italian Grand Prix weekend and will compete across several junior single-seater categories from 2027, including Formula 3, Formula Regional European Championship and Italian Formula 4, with plans to pursue entry into Formula 2.

Norris, who became Formula 1 world champion after rising through the junior racing ranks himself, said the project was created to provide young drivers with the support, resources and opportunities needed to succeed in motorsport.
The team will be led by René Rosin, the former founder and team principal of successful junior racing outfit Prema, while LN4 Fusion has acquired selected assets from AIX Racing ahead of its planned Formula 3 entry.
Alongside the racing team, Norris is also launching the LN4 Legacy Programme, an independent driver development initiative designed to support talented young racers who face financial barriers on their journey through the motorsport ladder.
The programme will provide funding, coaching and career guidance to selected drivers, with the aim of creating opportunities for those who may have the ability to reach Formula 1 but lack the necessary financial backing.
Norris said his own career benefited from strong support systems and that the new initiative was designed to help future generations of drivers access similar opportunities.

“I’ve been really lucky to have some amazing people around me throughout my career, and I know that getting to Formula 1 takes so much more than just talent,” Norris said.
LN4 Fusion will operate with facilities in Italy and the United Kingdom as it builds its structure across junior racing categories.
The project represents one of the most significant moves by an active Formula 1 champion to create a direct pathway for emerging drivers seeking to reach the sport’s highest level.
