President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condemned the attack on innocent residents of Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The President also directed security and intelligence agencies to intensify operations in the affected communities to track down those responsible and secure the release of any abducted persons.

The attack, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, claimed the lives of about 30 residents, including women and children, while several houses were set ablaze.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, described the assault as an unprovoked act of terror against defenceless citizens.

President Tinubu stressed that those seeking to undermine the hard-earned peace and security that Kaduna State has enjoyed in recent times would be brought to justice.

He also extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, Governor Uba Sani, the Kaduna State Government, and the people of the state over the tragic incident.
The President reassured the state government and the affected communities of the Federal Government’s support, saying it remains committed to addressing security challenges across the country.
