DLM Capital Group has completed its second principal and interest payment to investors under its ₦9 billion Sovereign Bond-Backed Composite Notes, SBCN.

The notes were issued through the Group’s ₦30 billion Medium-Term Notes Programme listed on the FMDQ Exchange.

According to the company, ₦948.49 million was paid to investors in Tranche A, while ₦197.08 million was paid to investors in Tranche B.

The latest payments came six months after the company made its first principal and interest payment under the programme.

The obligations relate to DLM Funding SPV Plc’s ₦7.30 billion Series 1 Tranche A and ₦1.70 billion Series 3 Tranche B Plain Vanilla Returns SBCN.

DLM Capital Group said the latest payment reflected the performance of the instrument since it was introduced to the market in July 2025.

The SBCN was developed under the leadership of the Group Chief Executive Officer of DLM Capital Group, Sonnie Babatunde Ayere.

The instrument received AAA ratings from Global Credit Rating and DataPro Limited.

According to the company, the payment history since issuance has allowed investors and other market participants to assess the structure of the instrument based on its actual performance.

DLM Capital Group said Tranche A remained a significant listed corporate AAA-rated bond, with an upward-sloping return structure designed to provide investors with some protection against inflation.

The group said it had also maintained quarterly performance reporting to provide investors and other stakeholders with regular information on the performance of the instrument.

It attributed growing investor confidence to the combination of timely payments, regular performance reporting and strong credit ratings.

DLM Capital Group described the second payment as another milestone in its efforts to deliver financial solutions focused on execution, transparency and value for investors.

The company added that the performance of the SBCN formed part of its broader contribution to the development of Nigeria’s financial market.
