All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced the composition of its Primary Election Committees and Primary Election Appeal Committees ahead of the party’s forthcoming National Assembly primary elections.
The party disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to the statement, the committees will oversee the conduct of the primary elections and handle appeals arising from the exercise.
The APC called on party members, aspirants and stakeholders to ensure a peaceful and transparent process throughout the primaries.
The party also urged all participants to uphold fairness and internal democracy during the exercise.
“The Party urges all members and stakeholders to uphold transparency and fairness, and remain peaceful during the exercise,” the statement said.
The announcement comes as political parties intensify preparations for the nomination of candidates ahead of future elections across the country.
