The Executive Chairman of Essien Udim Local Government Council in Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Ntiedo Usoro, has rewarded three of his aides with cash gifts and a new car in recognition of their loyalty and dedicated service.
Leading the beneficiaries is Mr. Mbet Effiong, described as the Chairman’s longest-serving aide, who received a new car alongside a cash gift of ₦2 million to support his plan of acquiring land.

In a similar gesture, Mr. Anyiebiet Johnson was presented with ₦2 million to assist in purchasing land, while Mr. Udoma Sylvester received ₦1 million to support his ongoing house project.
Speaking on the initiative, Usoro said the gesture was aimed at appreciating commitment, loyalty, and consistent service to the council. He noted that rewarding hard work is essential for building a motivated and effective workforce within the local government system.
The development has drawn reactions from residents and political observers, many of whom described the move as commendable and a positive example of leadership that values dedication in public service.

The recognition highlights ongoing efforts by the council leadership to encourage productivity and strengthen morale among its staff and aides.
