The US military has called on Syrian government forces to stop “any offensive actions” in the area between Aleppo and Tabqa.
On January 13, the Syrian Army declared YPG/SDF-held areas west of the Euphrates, including Deir Hafir and Maskanah, as military zones. The army later reported seizing Dibsi Afnan, securing Deir Hafir and Maskanah, and advancing toward Tabqa in Raqqa.
