FOUNDATION OFFERS MEDICAL OUTREACH, DISTRIBUTES RICE IN KADUNA

The Caleb Danladi Foundation has organized an end-of-year medical outreach, welfare intervention in Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

This initiative, provided care, compassion, support to widows, retired pastors, and other less privileged members of the community.

It was gathered that the outreach, which also served as a Christmas celebration, attracted several dignitaries, including the Vice Chairman of Jaba Local Government Area, the District Head of Daddu, officials from the Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority (KADCHMA), and various community stakeholders.

Also, as part of the humanitarian effort, the foundation distributed bags of rice to over 1,000 widows to support their families during the festive season. Additionally, at least 300 vulnerable individuals were newly enrolled in the KADCHMA to ensure their access to affordable and quality healthcare.

The District Head of Daddu, who represented the paramount ruler of Ham, commended Dr. Captain Caleb Danladi, the founder of the foundation, for his selfless and timely intervention.

He noted that the initiative brought relief and renewed hope to widows, retired pastors, and vulnerable individuals, urging other well-meaning members of the community to emulate this gesture.

Dr. Caleb Danladi expressed his gratitude to guests and community members for attending. He appreciated the support shown to him and his family during the mourning and burial of his late father. He wished everyone a peaceful Christmas celebration and safe travels.

Mrs. Hadiza Yen, affectionately referred to as a mother figure in the community, thanked God for the success of the program and praised Dr. Caleb for responding to what she described as God’s call to assist the less privileged. She encouraged widows to remain steadfast in their faith and prayed for God’s protection and blessings upon the foundation, its beneficiaries.

The Director General of KADCHMA, represented by the Head of Finance, Suleiman Mustapha, emphasized the importance of health insurance and explained the benefits of the scheme.

He noted that the collaboration between KADCHMA and the Caleb Danladi Foundation had expanded healthcare access for vulnerable individuals, with an additional 300 beneficiaries enrolled during the outreach, bringing the total number of enrollees to 750.

Leading the medical outreach, Dr. Jolly Byanet invited beneficiaries with health challenges, including high blood pressure, diabetes, and ulcersr ss to take advantage of the free medical check-ups and medications provided at the event.

As part of the empowerment program, Dr. Caleb Danladi also presented N25,000 each to 10 women, assuring that all widows would benefit in subsequent phases.

On their part, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude, with many moved to tears.

The event was further enlivened by a performance from the Kwoi Child Group, who sang in appreciation of Dr. Caleb’s humanitarian efforts.
