The Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), with a pledged to change the state’s political landscape.
The registration ceremony took place at TY Dajuma House on Sunday December 14 in Jalingo, with representatives from APC, PDP in attendance.
Kefas noted that his plan to complete the process earlier was suspended, in solidarity with the kidnapped Kebbi school children, other victims of insecurity in the country.
He said that a new date for the ceremony will be communicated in the nearest future.
The Governor received his APC membership card from Hon. Umaru Tanko, Chairman of APC Hospital Ward, Wukari Local Government Area.
He expressed gratitude to his APC ward chairman in Wukari, the Taraba State chairman for their support and the facilitation of his membership.
“I commend my APC ward chairman, Wukari and Taraba state Chairman for the opportunity, I appreciate the warm welcome from the executive, members of the APC in Taraba state,” he said.
