Twelve countries have announced plans to introduce or support restrictions on trade in goods produced in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, citing concerns over settlement expansion and rising violence in the territory.
The countries are:
- United Kingdom
- France
- Canada
- Denmark
- Finland
- Iceland
- Ireland
- Norway
- Poland
- Portugal
- Spain
- Sweden

In a joint statement, the countries said they intended to introduce national restrictions or support European measures targeting trade in goods from settlements they consider illegal under international law.
The governments said the decision was linked to what they described as increasing settler violence and settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank, warning that such developments were undermining prospects for a two-state solution.
The United Kingdom, France and Canada announced plans to implement national bans, while some countries, including Ireland and Spain, had already taken steps affecting trade with settlement goods.
Israel has criticised the measures, while supporters of the restrictions say they are intended to pressure Israel over settlement policies and protect the possibility of a future Palestinian state alongside Israel.
