Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Neche has voluntarily left the reality television competition, just days after becoming the Head of House.
Neche announced her decision to the other housemates shortly after Sunday’s live eviction show.
She gathered the contestants in the lounge and informed them that she had chosen to withdraw from the competition, but did not explain what prompted the decision.
Her unexpected announcement reportedly left several housemates emotional. Neche subsequently removed her microphone and name tag before heading to the diary room to complete the process of leaving the show.
Her sudden exit has also generated reactions among BBNaija fans, with some viewers questioning whether the announcement could be part of a planned prank or an unexpected twist by the organisers.
The 2026 edition of BBNaija, tagged “Show Ya Sef,” premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a record ₦160 million grand prize.
Martins and Mercedes were the first contestants evicted from the season, while Kamsy became the third housemate to leave the competition following Sunday’s eviction show.
Neche’s voluntary withdrawal adds another unexpected development to a season that has already witnessed multiple departures.
