The Nigeria Customs Service, Lilypond Export Command, says it recorded 792.57 million dollars in export value in the second quarter of 2026, representing a 24.35 per cent increase from the same period last year.
The Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Samuel Ariyibi, disclosed this during a briefing on the command’s performance.
He said the command processed 5,510 export containers, up from 3,732 containers in the second quarter of 2025.
Agricultural exports increased to 422.09 million dollars, while manufactured goods recorded a significant rise to 350.67 million dollars.
Collections under the Nigeria Export Supervision Scheme also increased by 9.52 per cent to 5.38 billion naira.
The command attributed the growth to improved compliance, stakeholder collaboration and government policies aimed at promoting non-oil exports and economic diversification.
