Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon has officially tied the knot with his lover in a traditional marriage ceremony.
The entertainment executive announced the development on Wednesday through a post on his Instagram page, where he shared moments from the ceremony and revealed that he is now married.
“I have been taken,” he wrote, accompanying the announcement with the hashtag #Sobeau2026.
The announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from colleagues, friends and fans across the entertainment industry.
Meanwhile, Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage congratulated the newlywed, wishing them well in their union. She wrote, “Huge congratulations.”
In the same vein, Singer Kcee also celebrated the occasion, saying, “Congratulations to you, my brother.”
Businessman Obi Cubana wrote, “Congratulations, big Soso,” while comedian Brother Shaggi also extended his best wishes, saying, “Congratulations, brother.”
Comedian AY Makun joined others in celebrating the music executive, posting, “Congratulations, bro. We mount.”
Several other celebrities, including actresses Ini Edo, Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo, Omoni Oboli and Destiny Etiko, as well as Cubana Chief Priest, Kunle Remi, KieKie, Toke Makinwa, Cute Abiola, Annie Idibia and Uche Ogbodo, also congratulated the couple.
