The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the orientation exercise for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II will commence on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, across the country.
This was contained in a statement signed by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
According to the statement, the three-week orientation programme will run simultaneously in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), ending on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
The scheme disclosed that call-up numbers have already been uploaded to the dashboards of prospective corps members, while call-up letters will be released in due course.
NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated all prospective corps members mobilised for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II on completing their academic programmes in higher institutions within and outside Nigeria, making them eligible for national service.
He advised the prospective corps members to travel safely to their designated orientation camps, urging them to avoid night journeys and strictly observe all travel and safety precautions throughout their trips.
