Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, on Tuesday formally consulted stakeholders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Government House, Uyo, ahead of his planned re-election bid in 2027.
The consultation meeting brought together party leaders and critical stakeholders, including the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.
Speaking at the event, Akpabio described Governor Eno as a peaceful and inclusive leader whose administration has continued to execute impactful projects across Akwa Ibom State.

He commended the governor for carrying party members and stakeholders along in governance and for sustaining developmental projects in different parts of the state.
The Senate President also expressed confidence that Akwa Ibom State would deliver massive electoral support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

According to him, the state is positioned to produce the highest number of votes for Tinubu in the South-South geopolitical zone.
