The Commissioner of Police, Akwa Ibom State Command, CP Baba Mohammed Azare, fsi, has paid a courtesy visit to Justice Ntong Ntong of the Court of Appeal at his residence, in a move aimed at strengthening institutional collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the Judiciary.
According to a statement issued by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Timfon John, LLB, Anipr, the visit was designed to foster mutual understanding, enhance cooperation in the administration of justice and maintenance of law and order within the state.

During the engagement, CP Azare reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to upholding the rule of law, respecting judicial processes, and ensuring that all policing activities remain strictly within constitutional and legal frameworks.
He emphasized the importance of sustained synergy between the Police and the Judiciary in ensuring effective justice delivery.
The Police Commissioner also undertook an inspection of an ongoing police station construction project within the area. He expressed satisfaction with the level of progress recorded and underscored the importance of modern infrastructure in improving operational efficiency and strengthening service delivery to the public.
The Command reiterated its dedication to building stronger partnerships with key stakeholders across the justice and security sector, noting that such collaborations remain essential to sustaining peace and security in Akwa Ibom State.

The statement reaffirmed that the Police Command will continue to prioritize professionalism, accountability, and community-oriented policing in its operations across the state.
