The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has approved Thursday, July 9, 2026, as the official passing-out date for members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I.
According to a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, activities marking the winding-up exercise will begin on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
The programme will feature Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions organised by the NYSC in collaboration with relevant agencies, as well as the registration and clearance of corps members by Local Government Inspectors (LGIs). The exercise will also include the signing of final clearance documents by Zonal Inspectors.

The scheme stated that the low-key passing-out ceremony will involve the distribution of Certificates of National Service to eligible corps members across all local government areas of the country.
NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the outgoing corps members and wished them a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise.
He also urged them to uphold the core values of the scheme and remain worthy ambassadors of the NYSC in their future endeavours and relationships.
The passing-out exercise will officially mark the completion of the mandatory one-year national service programme for the affected corps members.
