Nigerian music executive and businessman, Soso Soberekon, has offered N500 million to singer Peter Okoye to face his twin brother, Paul Okoye, in a celebrity boxing bout.
Soberekon made the offer on Sunday night while Peter was performing at an event.
A video circulating on social media showed Soberekon in the crowd holding up his phone to display the proposed deal to the singer on stage.
The message displayed on the phone read: “500 Million Naira to fight your twin in a boxing match.”
The offer comes amid the prolonged dispute between Peter and Paul, formerly known as the Afrobeats duo P-Square.
The twin brothers have been involved in a series of disagreements, including a financial dispute over the management and distribution of royalties from their music.
Peter had previously accused Paul and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, of allegedly diverting music royalties, allegations that have contributed to the renewed tension within the family.
