OKPEBHOLO RESHUFFLES CABINET, REDEPLOYS FOUR COMMISSIONERS

Edo State Governor, Mr Monday Okpebholo, has carried out a minor reshuffle of his cabinet, redeploying four commissioners to different ministries.

The redeployment was announced in a statement issued on Saturday by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Musa Ikhilor.

According to the statement, the changes are part of the administration’s efforts to improve governance, strengthen service delivery and enhance efficiency in the management of state affairs.

The affected commissioners and their new portfolios are
Mr. Felix Ehiguese Akhabue redeployed from the Ministry of Water Resources to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development. Vincent Osas Uwadiae moved from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development to the Ministry of Water Resources.
Andrew Momodu transferred from the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy to the Ministry of Oil and Gas Resources.
Prof. Omorodion I. Ikponmwosa moved from the Ministry of Oil and Gas Resources to the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.

The government said the redeployments take immediate effect.

Governor Okpebholo urged the affected commissioners to deploy their experience and expertise to their new responsibilities and remain committed to the administration’s SHINE Agenda.

The statement said the reshuffle was aimed at ensuring greater effectiveness in the implementation of the government’s programmes and the sustainable development of Edo State.
