The National President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Akinteye Babatunde, on Tuesday led members of the association’s national leadership on a courtesy visit to the Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service at the Service Headquarters in Abuja.

The delegation, which included the National Ex-Officio II, Comrade Patience Okoroafor, held discussions with the leadership of the Nigerian Correctional Service on strengthening collaboration between government institutions and the student body.

According to NANS, the meeting focused on youth inclusion, institutional partnerships, and initiatives aimed at promoting national development through sustained engagement between public institutions and student leaders.

The association said the visit formed part of the Babatunde-led administration’s efforts to build strategic partnerships with key government agencies in pursuit of policies and programmes that advance the interests and welfare of Nigerian students.

Other members of the NANS national leadership were also part of the delegation.
