The organisers of the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District (ISD) Leadership Anniversary Summit have announced the postponement of the event earlier scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2026.
In a statement issued on Thursday, and signed by Emma Akpabio, President of the ISD Leadership Anniversary Summit organising committee, he said the summit will now hold on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Ati Annang Hall.
According to the statement, the decision to reschedule the event followed consultations with key stakeholders.
The organisers said the summit will serve as a platform to celebrate what they described as the achievements of the collaborative leadership between Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, and President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.
They added that the gathering would also provide an opportunity for participants to assess the impact of governance and discuss strategies for advancing development in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.
The organisers expressed appreciation to political leaders, policymakers, stakeholders, professionals, development partners and guests for their understanding and continued support, while apologising for any inconvenience caused by the change of date.
