Bitcoin is facing a crucial test after a sharp surge in recent weeks, with technical indicators showing further upside potential but warning that major resistance levels could limit the cryptocurrency’s advance.

The world’s largest cryptocurrency has gained about 30 per cent in recent weeks, breaking a pattern of declining peaks that had weighed on its price since May. The rally pushed Bitcoin above its 21-day, 55-day, 100-day and 200-day moving averages, signals that analysts often use to assess market momentum.

Analysts said the recent rise was supported partly by market reactions to the United States Treasury’s decision to increase buyback operations for long-term debt, which helped fuel demand for risk assets.

However, Bitcoin’s next move could depend on whether it can break through resistance around $82,793, a level linked to technical retracement patterns and long-term moving averages. A sustained move above that point could strengthen expectations of a climb towards the $90,000 region and potentially the 2026 high of $97,867.

On the downside, analysts warned that a decline below key support levels around $75,674 and $71,781 could increase the possibility of a retreat towards $62,677 or the year’s low near $57,776.

Market participants are also monitoring monetary policy signals from the U.S. Federal Reserve, as expectations of tighter interest rates could support the dollar and create pressure on Bitcoin prices.

The analysis is based on technical chart patterns and does not represent investment advice or a guarantee of future price movements.
