Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced the establishment of a permanent emergency headquarters in Kyiv, following the declaration of a state of emergency in the country’s energy sector.

Zelenskyy said the government will directly oversee coordination efforts, with decisions on possible curfews and expanded heating assistance expected as authorities respond to worsening energy shortages.
