DELTA GOV. APPROVES MINOR CABINET RESHUFFLE, APPOINTS NEW DELSU GOV’T COUNCIL MEMBERS

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle affecting four commissioners in his administration.

The development was announced in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Kingsley Eze Emu, and made available to journalists in Warri on Wednesday.

According to the statement, Engineer Michael Ifeanyi Anoka has been redeployed from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal to the Ministry of Energy, while Mr. Sunday Tataobuzogwu moves from the Ministry of Energy to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal.

Similarly, Mrs. Rose Ezewu has been reassigned from the Ministry of Secondary Education to the Ministry of Primary Education, while Mr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu moves from the Ministry of Primary Education to the Ministry of Secondary Education.

The redeployment of the Commissioners takes immediate effect.

Meanwhile, Governor Oborevwori has also approved the nomination of three persons into the Governing Council of the Delta State University, Abraka.

Those nominated are Mr. Festus Ovie Agas, Mr. Frank Enekorogha and Mr. Charles Ajuyah, Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

The state government said the inauguration date for the new Governing Council members would be announced later.

The reshuffle and appointments are part of ongoing efforts by the Oborevwori administration to strengthen governance and enhance service delivery across key sectors of the state.
