Senior pastor of Zion Flames Ministries, Apostle Momo Promise, on Thursday released a series of prophecies about Nigeria and the world for 2026, predicting a new opposition political party would rise and grow stronger across the country in the new year.
Speaking during his New Year message, the cleric said the party’s success would depend on peaceful conduct, warning that violence would lead to disgrace.
“In 2026 the new opposition party will rise stronger.
“If they are to conquer, they will conquer by peace. If they take the path of violence, they will be humiliated totally,”Promise said .
The cleric also warned of what he described as divine judgement on those he called enemies of Nigeria.
He said, “God is warning those who trample upon the innocent. Giants in the nation who look at the poor like grasshoppers, torment them will face judgement.”
Promise further alleged that sponsors of terrorism would be punished, saying, “The sponsors of terrorism and their terrorists will be brought to utter destruction.”
On the 2027 general elections, he cautioned Nigerians against being used for political violence.
According to him: “Men will still rise in wickedness and use the innocent as sacrificial lambs for the 2027 election.
“Be wise, oh ye people. Don’t die in their war.”
The cleric also predicted that some notable elder statesmen would die in 2026.
On the economy, the cleric said prices of goods would fall, but purchasing power would remain weak.
“In 2026 the price of things will fall. Things will be relatively easy, but people will not have money to buy,” he said.
He added that Nigerian athletes would excel internationally, saying, “God will reward their success and put Nigeria on the global map.”
On global affairs, Promise said some major wars would begin to wind down, citing the Russia-Ukraine conflict, but warned of economic turmoil and natural disasters.
“I see a major war waged on the economy of the world,” he said. “I also see heavy flooding destroying parts of the earth”, he stated.
He also spoke about an alleged spiritual influence of an artificial intelligence-linked currency, Bittensor (TAO), claiming it would affect Western markets.
“The dollar will be stable, but the pounds will be fought seriously,” he said.
On Europe, the cleric warned that three countries would face major challenges and depend on external help, urging the continent to “return to God.”
However, regarding Africa in general , Promise predicted rising tensions among African nations.
He said: “I see nations in Africa fighting each other. If Africa is to be great, Africans must unite.”
He also spoke about Uganda’s general elections, saying, “God will move and shock Uganda. I see liberation.”
On the Church, Promise said judgement would begin within the Christian community.
“More false prophets and falsehood will be exposed,” he said, adding that the Church would face increased opposition in 2026 but would endure.
The cleric stressed that the declarations reflected his personal religious convictions, delivered as part of his annual prophetic message.
