SP Ikwen, a seasoned police officer and development practitioner, brings a wealth of experience to her new assignment.

She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science from the University of Calabar and has contributed significantly to technology-driven policing, strategic communication, and behavioural change initiatives within the Force.

As the new National Coordinator, she is expected to expand POCACOV’s reach in schools, higher institutions, communities, and youth platforms.

Her mandate includes driving preventive and participatory strategies to address cultism, drug abuse, cyber-related vulnerabilities, misinformation, gender-based violence, and other emerging societal challenges.

The IGP urged her to adopt innovative crime-prevention strategies and continue working with key stakeholders, community leaders, educational institutions, youth organisations, and partners who have supported the programme over the years.
