The Ogun State Police Command has directed all Supernumerary Police personnel operating in the state to report to its headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta, for mandatory documentation and verification between September 23 and October 7, 2026.
Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, announced the exercise in a statement on Wednesday, directing organisations engaging SPY personnel to ensure their officers participate within the stipulated period.
According to the command, affected personnel are required to report to the Police Public Relations Department at the Ogun State Police Command Headquarters.
They are expected to present their training certificates and photocopies, warrant cards or certificates of “To Whom It May Concern,” recent passport photographs in approved uniform and other relevant documents.
The command said the exercise is intended to strengthen the documentation, verification and oversight of Supernumerary Police personnel operating within Ogun State.
It urged organisations and affected personnel to comply with the directive and complete the exercise before the October 7 deadline.
