Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, has sacked two of his aides as part of the administration’s ongoing restructuring aimed at strengthening the machinery of government in line with the Renewed Hope vision and the ARISE Agenda.
The affected aides are Mr. Joseph Jacob Ikpak, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Support Services, and Mr. Felix Ekuri, Special Assistant to the Governor on Neighbourhood Watch.
Their disengagement was announced in a statement issued on Monday, November 17, 2025, by the Secretary to State Government (SSG), Prince Enobong Uwah.
According to the statement, the decision takes immediate effect.
The SSG noted that the restructuring is designed to enhance efficiency and reposition the administration for greater service delivery as Governor Eno continues to implement his development agenda across the State.
