Nigerian dancer and singer, Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has reportedly been released after spending several weeks in detention in the United Kingdom over an alleged sexual assault case.
The entertainer was reportedly arrested in the UK following an allegation of sexual assault, with his management later confirming that the matter was before a court.
At the time, his management urged the public not to treat the allegation as a fact, stressing that Poco Lee had not been convicted of any offence.
The team also dismissed reports linking the case to alleged drink-spiking, saying such claims were not part of the allegations before the court.
News of Poco Lee’s release emerged in a social media post celebrating his return to freedom, although details surrounding the terms of his release were not immediately available.
His management had previously appealed for restraint and respect for the legal process as the case progressed.
