A Canada-based Nigerian woman, Mrs Ezinne Nwanorue, has accused her husband, Mr Franklin Nwanorue, of engaging in an extramarital affair despite publicly taking an oath to remain faithful to their marriage.
Mrs. Nwanorue made the allegation in a post shared on her Facebook page on Thursday, claiming her husband had sexual relations with another woman after both of them publicly pledged not to be unfaithful.

The couple had gone viral earlier in the week after posting separate videos in which they invoked death upon themselves if either committed adultery.
In his video, Franklin Nwanorue declared that he would remain sexually faithful to his wife upon joining her in Canada, saying he should die if he cheated on her. He explained that the public declaration was inspired by what he described as divine direction received by his wife.
Mrs. Nwanorue also made a similar pledge, affirming that she would remain faithful to her husband and invoking the same consequence if she violated their marital vows.
However, in a subsequent Facebook post, she shared what she described as a comment from a woman allegedly involved with her husband. According to Mrs Nwanorue, the woman claimed that Franklin had continued the relationship and slept with her even after making the public fidelity oath.

The Canada-based woman alleged that she had endured significant hardship in the marriage despite her husband sponsoring her relocation abroad. She stated that she intended to reciprocate by assisting him in obtaining a Canadian visa but insisted that he would face the consequences of violating the oath if the allegations were true.
Meanwhile, Mr Nwanorue has not publicly responded to the latest allegations at the time of this report,t and the allegations also remain unverified independently.
