United States President, Donald Trump has been declared to be in excellent health following a routine medical evaluation, although his physician has recommended further weight reduction and continued lifestyle adjustments.
The assessment was contained in a medical report released after the president underwent a comprehensive health examination at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre near Washington.
According to the report, Trump remains physically and mentally capable of carrying out the responsibilities of the presidency, with medical officials noting strong cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological and overall physical function.
The president’s physician, US Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, stated that the examination showed no significant concerns and confirmed that Trump is fully fit to perform his duties as Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.
As part of preventive healthcare measures, doctors advised the 79-year-old leader to continue efforts toward weight management through improved diet, increased physical activity and ongoing medical supervision.
The report also noted that Trump currently takes medications to manage cholesterol levels, alongside a low-dose aspirin regimen aimed at reducing cardiovascular risks.
Medical findings showed that the president weighs 238 pounds (108 kilograms) and stands six feet three inches tall. Health experts encouraged further weight loss as part of efforts to maintain long-term wellness.
The examination also addressed recent public speculation regarding visible bruising on Trump’s hands. Physicians attributed the marks to minor soft-tissue irritation caused by frequent handshaking, combined with the blood-thinning effects of aspirin use.
The latest evaluation marks Trump’s third medical assessment since returning to office and comes amid heightened public interest in the health of world leaders.
Following the release of the report, Trump welcomed the findings, describing the examination as successful and expressing confidence in his overall health.
