Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has charged young people to embrace diligence, remain committed to their daily endeavours as a pathway to achieving their dreams and making meaningful contributions to society.
Governor Eno gave the advice on Sunday during the dedication service of baby Blossom Morgan Ekanem, daughter of his Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties, Barr. Morgan Ekanem, held at Victory Chapel, University of Uyo Township Campus, Uyo.
Commending Ekanem for his dedication and effective service delivery to his administration, the Governor described him as a dependable aide who has consistently demonstrated commitment to assigned responsibilities.
“We are here to celebrate a man who has shown diligence in what God has given him to do,” the Governor said, quoting a biblical passage which underscores the reward of hard work and excellence.
He noted that Ekanem’s impressive performance in facilitating government assignments reflects the value of dedication and urged young people to distinguish themselves through excellence, stressing that such qualities would attract opportunities, improve livelihoods and foster positive societal development.
Governor Eno congratulated the Ekanem family on the birth of their child and prayed for God’s continued blessings, grace and protection upon them.
