A newly released biography about Prince Harry has been strongly criticized by his spokesperson, who described the book’s claims as a “deranged conspiracy.” The biography alleges that Queen Camilla remarked Harry had been brainwashed by his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
Harry and Meghan have been estranged from the British royal family since stepping back from official duties in 2020 and relocating to California, yet they remain subjects of global attention. The book, written by Tom Bower, claims that tensions began between the couple and other royals soon after their 2018 wedding, with Prince William and Kate, Princess of Wales reportedly viewing Meghan as a threat to Harry.
In response, Harry and Meghan’s spokesperson said Bower’s commentary à“long crossed the line from criticism into fixation” and dismissed the claims as sensationalized. Buckingham Palace declined to comment, and representatives for William and Kate also had no immediate response.
The biography also touches on Harry’s , concerns regarding the fall from grace of his uncle, Prince Andrew, citing his legal troubles and ties to the late Jeffrey Epstein, and fears that similar treatment could affect him.
This latest controversy underscores the ongoing public and media scrutiny surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who continue to navigate complex family and media dynamics while maintaining international influence.
