Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has approved the appointment of Dr. Dagogo S.A. Wokoma as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Barrister Sunny Ewule as Chief of Staff (CoS).
The appointments take immediate effect.
According to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onwuka Nzeshi, the newly appointed officials will be sworn in later today.
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Executive Council (Exco) Chamber, Government House, Port Harcourt.
The appointments are expected to strengthen the administrative structure of the Fubara-led administration as it continues to implement its policies and programmes across the state.
