Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford will wear the No. 11 shirt for England at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, while midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has been assigned the No. 16 jersey, according to squad details released ahead of the official announcement.
The full list of England’s World Cup squad numbers is expected to be made public later on Tuesday, but Manchester United confirmed the allocations early after revealing the shirt numbers of their 13 players selected for the tournament.

Rashford will continue with the No. 11 shirt, a number he previously wore at the 2021 European Championship and the 2022 World Cup. He also wore No. 19 at the 2018 World Cup and No. 22 during Euro 2016.
For Mainoo, the No. 16 shirt marks a change from Euro 2024, where he wore No. 26 during his first major international tournament with the senior England team.
Both players are expected to play key roles in England’s midfield and attacking setup as the Three Lions prepare for their World Cup campaign.
The release of squad numbers is part of the final stage of preparations ahead of the tournament, which will see England aiming to improve on their previous international performances with a mix of experienced stars and emerging talents.
