In the spirit of yuletide season, Lady Angela Ohuabunwa, the visioneer and founder of Let Your Light Shine Radio Programme, airing weekly on 104.5 Love Fm Crowther Radio, Abuja has urged Christians especially women to remain steadfast in giving thanks to God Almighty for the gift of life, regardless of their standing in the society.
She stressed the need for Christians to not relent on giving God thanks for giving them life and things that money cannot buy.
She added that God inhabits the praises of his people, which He feeds on, saying that He doesn’t demand much from his children.
She spoke on Sunday when she led members of her organisation and some women for a
thanksgiving service to end the year 2025 , at the Anglican Dioses of Abuja, St. Matthew’s Church, Maitama, Abuja
According to her: “Money cannot buy life. And God Almighty has given it to us free of charge. But, He feeds on the praises of his people. So, we don’t want to starve God of praise.
“Just give Him quality praise. And I’m an obedient servant of the Most High God, I love to honour Him with praise for His faithfulness.
“I’m so grateful, reaching out to widows, reviving homes. I know of a sister, who said she’s walking out on her marriage. And after speaking to her, she’s stable in her marriage.
“So, I give God a praise. And then raising a lot of prayer women as we are light unto our world.
So, we’re trying to let women know that there’s a way out of their challenges.
“You don’t have to run to the north, to the south, to the east. Jesus Christ is standing by in front of you. So, just embrace and call upon Him and He will answer you.”
On her expectations for 2026 in a few weeks time, she said: “I pray for greater glory, growth, spiritual growth, and to be diligent always.
“So, I want to be more committed to Christ. Living my life as if every day is like the last day on earth even though I know I’m going to live 100 years and above. So, that’s what I want to do. And then grow for the fellowship.”
