The U.S. Mission in Nigeria has expressed appreciation for the recent visit of Under Secretary Allison Hooker to Nigeria’s capital, where she engaged with government officials, religious leaders, and American business representatives.
The visit, according to Mission Nigeria, was aimed at strengthening collaboration on key areas including security, religious freedom, and economic development. The United States reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigeria’s efforts to protect religious communities, particularly Christians, and to advance priorities of mutual interest.
