Andre, the son of popular Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, has entered a new chapter in his life following a reconciliation with his father, businessman Olakunle Churchill, marking their first public reunion in nearly a decade.

Both Dikeh and Churchill took to Instagram during the week to share heart-warming photos and videos from time spent together with their son. The posts captured moments of laughter, bonding, and shared meals, reflecting a relaxed and joyful family atmosphere.

Expressing his emotions, Churchill wrote that reuniting with his son brought him deep fulfillment and gratitude.

“After many years, my eyes have finally seen my son, my heart is full. Seeing my dear son growing well, God-fearing, disciplined and well cared for fills me with pride and peace. His mother has done an incredible job raising him with love and intention. For that, I commend her greatly,” he wrote.

Churchill also expressed gratitude to Pastor Jerry Eze for spiritual guidance and support, adding, “Today, I stand as a proud father; grateful, restored and humbled. God is always faithful.”

Reacting to the reunion, Dikeh shared a reflective post, describing the moment as an act of divine restoration.

“God has a way of rewriting stories men thought were over. This is grace speaking and hearts for Jesus obeying. Time could not cancel what God ordained. Restoration has a voice, and today it spoke,” she wrote.

Beyond the emotional reunion, the moment also marked a symbolic shift in Andre’s identity, as the actress publicly referred to her son as “Andre Churchill,” instead of “Andre Dikeh,” a name she had used for nearly 10 years following her separation from Churchill.

The development follows Dikeh’s recent announcement that she and her former husband had resolved their long-standing differences, bringing closure to years of public tension, silence, and disputes over custody and personal matters.

Dikeh and Churchill were married in 2015, but their union collapsed less than two years later amid allegations and legal battles which played out in the public space for years. The latest reconciliation represents a rare moment of calm, a significant turning point in one of Nigeria’s most closely followed celebrity family sagas.
