President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Saturday undertake a one-day official visit to Kebbi State to inaugurate projects executed by Governor Nasir Idris.
During the visit, the President will also serve as Special Guest of Honour at the 61st edition of the 2026 Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival.
The Argungu Festival, regarded as one of Africa’s most celebrated cultural events, is held along the riverside of the historic Matan Fada.
The festival has earned global recognition and is listed by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) of Humanity.
A statement issued on Friday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga says the visit underscores the Federal Government’s continued support for cultural heritage, tourism development, and sub-national infrastructure growth.
