President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has applauded the peaceful, orderly conduct of All Progressives Congress (APC) ward and local government congresses in across Akwa Ibom State.
Senator Akpabio in a statement described the exercise as credible and well-coordinated, noting that it reflected the maturity and unity within the party in the state.
He specifically commended the Chairmen of Ward and Local Government Congress Committees, Austine Bako and Salama Dauda, for what he called their diligence and professionalism in delivering a transparent process.
The Senate President also expressed appreciation to APC State Leader and Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, for providing what he described as unifying leadership that ensured harmony and cohesion among party members throughout the exercise.
Senator Akpabio further praised party faithful and supporters across the state for their discipline, peaceful conduct, and commitment to strengthening the party’s grassroots structures.
He noted that the successful congresses demonstrate the growing stability and organizational strength of the APC in Akwa Ibom State, positioning the party for greater responsibilities ahead.
